In July 2018, CoolUV Technology Inc. China's first full UV LED curing system (without mercury lamp) was installed on the brand new four-color P453 Fuji Printing Machine of Zhejiang Deguan Metal Packaging Co., LTD.
The reason why it is called China's first full UV LED curing system is mainly reflected in two aspects:
1, before the piecemeal installation of the printing machine, mostly monochrome machine or two-color machine, four-color machine installation cases are few and far between.
2. Most of the curing systems installed by previous manufacturers are LED+ mercury lamp mode, usually with 1-2 mercury lamps in the receiving part, and there are few cases where UV LED is used entirely.
The use of a full UV LED curing system requires two requirements:
1, the need for printing ink LED formula improvement and optimization;
2. The UV LED lamp itself has excellent radiation intensity at a distance of 2-125px. On the basis of ink is not fully mature, the requirements of LED lamps are relatively high.
Since July 2018, Deguan has printed nearly one million orders of miscellaneous tin, bringing huge economic benefits to the enterprise.
At the end of 2018, Decro and CoolUV signed two more contracts for the transformation of two color machines, marking the beginning of the transformation of equipment in the whole plant.
